the fucked up part is i do actually think DDD is one of the more simple KH games because it has a clear thematic focus that nomura gave up on by kh3. but DDD's whole thrust is theres one million stupid nonsense reality warps you think are meaningful but they're just one old man being an asshole

I genuinely think it isn’t that hard to understand the broad strokes. It was a trap and Sora fell for it is literally all it amounts to. They just have stupidly complicated explanations for what’s happening if you go digging.
