An osprey wings spread wide, landing on a branch with a partially headless fish in its talons. This bird displayed behavior that no one in the walk group could explain: After catching its meal out of the Willamette River, it flew in circles with the fish in its talons while yelling at two other osprey flying in the area before landing in this bare tree. After I took this shot, it ate more of the fish and then took off again with the fish in its talons, circling the area several more times (including flying right above the group of is standing in the pedestrian bridge) while being very vocal before landing on the same branch and eating more.
