Heath Stewart @heaths.dev · Mar 29 Making hanging shelves for my daughter’s room is a PITA, but I think they’re turning out okay. Drilling 6” (nearly) perfect holes took a lot of trial and practice. Many scrap pieces suffered.

Nice work. I haven't even trusted myself yet to hang premade floating shelves in my son's room.
I’ve taught the kids that perfection is almost never necessary; however, this is a case where, if the deep holes aren’t straight enough, the shelves may not fit on, go all the way to the wall, or mount straight. Some drywall anchors will be necessary so too much force could damage the wall further.
