Decent day for a ride - not too hot - and met a friendly troll, Jacob Two Trees. Also passed some marshmallow fields. Seems a bit early in the season for them, though.

While riding back through town, I’m fairly certain I saw a marmot scurrying off. Normally found in alpine and subalpine climates, I didn’t believe my eyes till I found an article about a marmot living in a local woman’s attic. What I saw was light brown, fat and wide, and waddled like a marmot.
