This is by far the most popular speedrun category in the Super Monkey Ball series, and even casual fans are sure to be amazed by seeing their favorite (or least favorite) stages conquered quickly. I am a top runner of this category and plan to do serious attempts to reclaim a top-10 time this summer; performing SMAL in Flame Fatales would be an excellent culmination of my efforts.
