Our Government is engaging in feasibility studies on high speed rail options from Windsor to Halifax and within the Cape Breton Regional Municipality. Upon the completion of these studies, we intend to put them forward to the Federal Government to seek support for this transportation infrastructure. Federal governments consistently fund similar projects in larger urban centers and it is now time for Federal programs to expand and encompass similar opportunities in comparatively smaller urban centers. I am seeking your confirmation that if the feasibility studies are favourable, you will support these necessary generational investments in Nova Scotians. Conclusion I appreciate you taking the time to review Nova Scotia's priorities. If you can support these priorities, then I will do my part to make sure that Nova Scotians are aware.
