And I could not name a single "leader" of this movement. Of course, the names of Alex Pretti and Renee Good are widely known and revered, but both martyrs were absolutely indistinguishable from the thousands of other volunteers who ran into danger to protect their neighbors prior to their deaths, a fact that made their respective murders that much more powerful in the national discourse.
