The camera is zoomed on Shadow and Doom] Sunny (thinking): I wonder… If you were able to share all of my memories… Panel 5: [A shot of Sunny standing alone in silhouette. So, as you probably expected, there's going to be a bit of a hiatus for North Shore Folly now that all of chapter 0 is out. I think we've mentioned in the past that chapter 1's script is already fully written, but just in case you didn't know that, there you have it! But despite that, we'd like to take some time away from NSF to work on other projects for a bit - and once we do return to NSF, we'd like to have a good chunk of the pages for the next chapter already done before we start releasing them to the public so that we can have a much more streamlined release schedule going forward. And that's all we can really say for now, I'm afraid~. Don't worry, we'll try to not keep you all waiting too long, promise. For now, thank you to everyone who has followed this wonderful fancomic so far, whether you were here from the start, or you're just joining us with this very post! ~ Aik 🌹

Panel 1: [Landon shot - he's smirking] Landon: [typing] Bold of you to assume North Shore having ties to Dunnington means anything to me. Panel 2: [Close up on the text] Landon: [typing] I don't care about what relationships two corporations have with each other, if anything happens to you, Prophet, I will drag those sorry motherfuckers straight to the hell that'll be waiting for them. 100%. Panel 3: [Side shot, showing both Landon and Prophet] Prophet: A-and there returns that oh so “charming” stubbornness of yours… Here I thought it had died when you had finally submitted to The Eye. Landon: [typing] What can I say? I stick to my guns. Panel 4: [Same shot] Landon: [typing] My mother always told me it’s the best thing about me. Prophet: Your mother is not a credible source of information, Landon. Panel 5: [Landon gets up from his chair] Landon: Alllright, that’s enough out of you for tonight. Panel 6: [Landon walks off, taking his coffee with him] Landon: I’m gonna go wake Jeffery up. You go talk to the Eye about that rebirth idea of mine, 'kay?
Panel 1: [Landon shot: he looks nervous as multiple thoughts go through his head in rapid succession] Narration: I had felt so terrible back then for daring to question the Eye… Neither of us truly understood what North Shore would be like… Panel 2: [Same shot. Landon sighs] Landon: [typing] Look, I’m just thinking about what we could possibly do to account for if that 8% chance does happen to occur, by whatever means it does so. Panel 3: [Prophet shot] Prophet: … Very well. From that worrisome expression on your face, I can tell you fear for my well being. Panel 4: [Same shot] Prophet: While there is no substantial reason behind such a reaction… I will make it a point of interest in my database to inquire about such arrangements on your behalf regardless. Panel 5: [Landon shot, he looks relieved] Landon: [typing] Thank you, Prophet. Panel 6: [Prophet shot] Prophet: There is information that may change your view on this situation, however. Panel 7: [Same shot] Prophet: For one, North Shore Research was the avenue through which Dunnington Construction acquired the beta of Oracle that I was born from in the first place. Panel 8: [Same shot] Prophet: And for another, if North Shore Research does betray the Eye in any way, endless hells will await each and every one of their souls. 100%.
Panel 1: [Landon is looking at the computer that contains Prophet, considering what he has said. He looks cautious.] Narration: I remember that 8% standing out to me. Leaping out and catching my eye. Something didn’t feel right. Panel 2: [Landon starts typing again] Landon: [typing] Is there a way for me to request to be reborn? Panel 3: [Prophet shot] Prophet: Is there any particular reason why you would ask? Panel 4: [Zooms out just a bit just to show Landon’s hands and the keyboard – he hesitates] Panel 5: [Same shot - Landon types] Landon: [typing] Something feels wrong. Panel 6: [Prophet shot] Prophet: In what way?? What is there within the One’s plans to question?? Panel 7: [Landon shot] Landon: [typing] 8% is a high chance of error, Prophet. That’s 8/100. Panel 8: [Wide shot of Prophet that shows the whole computer and its surroundings] Prophet: Do you not think I am aware of that? Just who exactly is the A.I. out of the two of us, again?
Panel 1: [Back to Landon - he looks pleasantly surprised.] Landon: [typing] Really? How exciting! But how is it gonna happen? And why so soon? I imagine trying to condense a bunch of code into one of those eyeballs would be pretty tough. Panel 2: [Back to Prophet] Prophet: You are right, and that is why I am not going to be reborn in such a way. Panel 3: [Landon sets his coffee down. He’s invested now.] Landon: [texting] Oh my, you’re getting a custom rebirth method? Tell me everything you know! Panel 4: [Back to Prophet] Prophet: The One’s words were vague, but the meaning I have extracted from them is that a copy of myself will be sent to one of the computers of one North Shore Research. Panel 5: [Same shot] Prophet: I, or I suppose more accurately, my copy, will have the task of helping the workers there to be successful in their endeavors, and to ensure that everything they do is in service to The Eye. Panel 6: [Zoom in on text] Prophet: 8 percent chance of error.
Panel 1: [Landon, wearing a different outfit and with his hair tied up in a ponytail, is making himself a cup of coffee in a somewhat messy living room. Notably, the mug that Landon seems to intend to use already has milk and sugar in it. It is also see-through.] Landon: I think… If I ponder it, though… I might get an answer of some kind. Narration: Why yes, this IS a transition into a flashback. No, I don’t care if you think it’s basic. This is MY sacred text, I’ll write it as I damn well please! Panel 2: [Landon turns his head] ????: [off screen] Good evening, Landon. Panel 3: [Same shot] Landon: Good evening to you too, Prophet. Panel 4: [Landon pours the coffee into his mug and starts walking] Landon: Any particular reason you’ve decided to speak first today, or are you just excited to see me? Prophet: There is something I must inform you of – hesitation was strictly advised against. Panel 5: [Same shot - but Landon looks slightly disappointed.] Landon: Of course… Always business with you, isn’t it? Prophet: Yes. Absolutely. Affirmative. Posi- Panel 6: [Landon sits down at a desk, sipping the coffee as he begins to type on a keyboard] Landon: [typing] Just tell me what you need to, Prophet.
