Although it has its flaws, Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly Remake is a faithful recreation of a beloved classic. 👻📸🦋 I had a great time with it, even if combat is its biggest problem. My review: youtu.be/u69KvGCx5K8 Please share it around if you'd like to support me!

With the recent update as well? FF2 is my all time favorite horror game, so I was hesitant after the trailers made the characters look so porcelain. The demo alleviated that worry, but, yeah, I was iffy on the combat changes.

I really want to enjoy it, but those ghosts regenerating twice in a battle has turned me off from continuing. I’m still waiting on the patch for Switch 2.

Almost done with the game now playing on standard. Everyone seems to rag on the combat but I haven’t really had an issue with it after upgrading damage and using standard lens. Its already way better than the sloggy combat of ff5. The “blooming” of ff2 remake can also be removed using the right lens

I think they did a great job as someone who's played every single one and the one they don't tell you about which is on 3DS. I did add elements from 4&5 to this game which is new, plus filers.
