It is pointed out to them that this is maybe not a safe place for their trans attendees. Their response is attached. Do you feel like your concerns would be allayed? Event runs in May 2025.

Will that government official be there with a safety/security Force to shield the trans individuals who will be attending? No? Then it doesn't help at all with concerns about our safety
The argument of the state has a trans person in government is even less reassuring than you telling me you have a trans friend when these concerns are brought to you.
Not even a little bit. What steps are being taken to ensure the safety of transfolks at the venue? Are trans friendly rides being offered with vetted drivers to ensure safety at all?

The specific town matters more than red state/blue state. Depending on what town in MT, it could be more or less safe than any so called blue area
