1. Play a character defined by a series of attributes and skills. 2. Lots of monsters with similar but different stat blocks. 3. Players unlock new feats and abilities as they play. 4. The GM hints at a possible TPK each session, but the combat is actually a cakewalk. 5. Players have enough time between turns to build dice towers. 6. Rewards for players who don't bail on the session (Pizza). 7. One spell or ability is far more powerful than any other. Bonus points if it sets a room on fire. 8. You flirt with your friends, but it's "in character". 9. Jokes about committing war crimes. 10. Players roll critical hits. 11. Players roll critical fumbles. 12. Violence.
