Humanists UK @humanists.uk · Jul 1 #Onthisday in 1972, the UK's first official Pride march took place in London. Organised by the Gay Liberation Front and the Campaign for Homosexual Equality. The date, 1 July, was chosen as the nearest Saturday to the anniversary of the Stonewall uprising in New York.
