Let's assume it's a surprise attack. So, assuming two of 1435 are at readiness. 1. Think it's pretty rare to see Arg aircraft flying toward FI at speed, and tanker build-up or comms may have been noticed 2. Typhoons would be reluctant to shoot first without war having been declared (and generally don't seem to have much of a load-out). 3. Against a sucker-punch of four or six F-16s firing a volley of AIM-120C-8s, the Typhoons would be in trouble 4. On paper, Typhoons are better in most categories, but two aircraft against a surprise attack could be in trouble 5. If they can't take out Mount Pleasant, it will be reinforced, and Typhoons on a war footing with much better pilots and kit will dominate
