Nick Fisher @hydroxide.dev · 28d This is why I can’t take the ethics angle very seriously. He’s either incredibly naive, or as someone else hinted above, one of those EA types who can rationalise anything for their definition of “greater good”. I suspect it’s a combination of both.

He is human, and so he is subject to cognitive biases just like all of us I also think he is naive, fwiw. Simple example: their software sucks because they naively thought software engineering was over. Alas, he is far from the first CEO to jump off a cliff and try building a plane on the way down
