It's the same with US on Defence; If you are only permitted to buy defence from the Pentagon, Last thing you want, when Putin attacks the EU, that Trump can tell us that we can't use our own fighterjets. Wich sumsup how bad this is getting. Glad we have some means to pushback;but it's ugly.

As dutch I never did understood a hype as big as AI when it centers around one business and one business only who can make semiconductors. I don't like to USE it as leverage; but after all the Blackmail comming from the WH, one is done playing polite. Guess govt feels same way.

I guess the USA best be Suckingup to the Dutch like we're Trump's new Bff. Not like ASML can't sent US's AI economy back to the stone ages. It's not healthy, I'll admit that. But damn that's some leverage to have. Have the dutch minister of Trade tell US to be nice or be done eeh Oops.
