i finally bought a USB charging cable for my 3DS and was able after a long time to power it up. modded, needed updates all the way, probably wasn't even aware that the eShop ever closed lol updated boot9strap, luma3ds, firmware, MK7, installed pretendo, and was able to join a match. great times!
