Earlier this year, we joined with Justice Action Network, @famm.org, and @rstreet.bsky.social in a letter urging opposition to the bill. We applaud the legislature for rejecting a policy that prioritizes punishment over rehabilitation at a steep cost to taxpayers and overburdened prisons.
