It’s good, but feels sudden and unresolved. I understand why folks aren’t gonna love this one but I think it will be seen more favorably in the future.

He doesn't do happy endings so I wasn't expecting a lot there anyway. I think the lesson is self sacrifice doesn't fix anything at best everyone is still kinda miserable

He's been saying it from the very beginning, get yourself a significant other and a dog, and the rest is the rest. I don't know if it mattered to me one way or another. We saw a couple times over it get so apocalyptic crazy, so it just needed to kind of end. 'Fire Punch' had the most ethereal end

I think the concept of the ending is fine enough, but it should’ve been built up to more and it should have been Denji’s choice in the end

It was a fun & funny chapter. Exactly what I’d been missing from the series! I’d have been on board for Part III. But it was an awful, punch to the face *ending,* and it retroactively made the entire last battle and any and all character sacrifices feel worthless? Nothing was paid off.

I called it when it was announced it was going to end so soon. It’s such an easy out for something so weird and ending so abruptly.

I'm still processing it. Need to re-read part 2 all at once, but...it just felt so rushed and disconnected. I like what Fujimoto was going for but I don't think he really landed it.
