The Jonathan Majors pivot did so much damage to this phase. They should have just recast him and kept the original plot points in place.

This is really the most obvious thing ever. Slowly building stuff up is what made people look forward to these Avengers movies.
It still baffles me that they didn't just recast Kang. You have a Character and a Saga where you can do that and it'd make sense. We've already seen 2 Mr. Fantastics, 2 Lokis and 3 Spider-Men in this Saga, so it's not like it would have been weird.
