Since the original them have powers but I don’t want them to have powers as mermen, I kinda combined concepts for the ones that do

Winter: leviathan part, (i just made him massive to make him seem unstoppable and intimidating) cuz originally he has a curse that gives him strength, healing and speed

Jason: anglerfish part just for the “lure” part, i want it to be more flexible to manipulate so sometimes if he needs to scare a larger predator, he lights up his hands to make them “look like eyes from something bigger”, also the double jaw thing from eels are fun. Originally he has powers to manipulate fear so i think it kinda fits.

Gideon: originally he has “liminal manipulation” and all that, something about manta rays are so majestic, and the cuttlefish would help him “disappear” due to camouflage

Ammon: doesn’t have powers so he for have a “secondary species”, but he may be seen as intimidating/unstoppable cuz he can’t feel pain, so i thought orcas are a good fit.. also he’s cute like one

..anyways that’s my idea

Basically, the color in a spore being is more than just pigment, its chemicals, nutrients, etc. while spore beings are usually a blessing to the environment, a colorless one will be the opposite, the lack of color almost does the opposite effect to its fluids, surroundings, etc. They are
Destructive, yes, but the balance of life needs destruction at times.
Colorless spore beings are seen as guardians in a way, protecting while destroying. Metals begin to dull and rust, buildings become unstable, nature decays, etc. Colorless spore beings are rare and have not been documented or discovered since recent sightings, many still dont know they exist. Spore beings are unsure how to react to one but still have communal instincts so they will help out recover with caution

Sorry it reached the character limit, basically telling how gid is responsible for winter allowing his curse to kill his parents but keeps it hidden from him, eventually when winter finds out he stops holding the needy curse back and embraces it, finally in a symbiotic relationship with it as he becomes a murderer. Or whatever. Winter then goes out of his way to constantly push on gids guilt since its pleases him

Times have been tough. Take that shower youve been avoiding. Be gentle with yourself, because some days, you are the only one who can show yourself some love. I and a lot of people on here are proud of you for being here, for going through the day, even if it feels like youre at your limits, being here says a lot about you. Thank you for fighting for yourself, even if it doesn't feel that way, youre doing your best. Your struggles are just as important as others.
