Halting it matters. But a machine that snatches neighbors off streets with no accountability runs because there's no channel between elections to stop it. Rallies slow it; durable citizen power built for the mom who's afraid to school-run ends it.
The Trump/Miller regime that is hunting down brown people, putting them in private for-profit prison warehouses, deporting them and in growing number of cases, murdering them — got the congressional Republicans to say “we want more of that.” The R’s have poured BILLIONS OF OUR TAX MONEY into this!
