Art from Drill Core. Seriously, I'm shocked at how well Drill Core plays when you're managing multiple mining fronts at once. Sending out orders en masse while making building and turret decisions. I feel like it's lacking here and there, but it doesn't have to be perfect.

Some art from MOUSE: P.I. For Hire. I was grinning a lot throughout my time and I didn't feel like said time was being wasted. So it was a positive experience. Very 7/8 out of 10 kind of game.

I always imagined Akiko as being very sturdy, almost fridge-shaped. Earlier I stuck with her being bottom-heavy and pear shaped. But I kinda like giving her large arms and stubbier legs. She’s meant to be a sumo wrestler, so giving her large limbs felt right.

I’ve always struggled with Rose’s face. This feels pretty close though. I also want to keep playing with exaggeration. Rose is meant to be a living anime character in a world of semi-realistic people. Though I do want to push toony exaggeration more in my art, Roselynn should ALWAYS look the weirdest. She’s a very sweet freak and deserves to look as weird and beautiful as possible.

I sunk so many hours into Survivors. Guys, I really like these games. It helps that they have an End and don’t go on forever.

Also my thoughts on each below!!

20. Hungry Horrors - Kinda fell off it pretty quickly. The concept is very strong and it has potential. Not feeling the hooks yet. Will likely return later.

21. Stick It to the Stickman - Full of crazy fun ideas. I've gotten through most of the content at this time and taking a break so that I don't get burnt out on it before its, uh, full release...?

22. MOON RPG - I can definitely see why this game inspired Toby Fox. A world full of interesting weirdos with "monsters" that feel like weird natural wildlife. The exploration is VERY strong!

23. Scritchy Scratchy - It's hard to see how far the concept goes from the start, but you can reliably finish this in 25 minutes once you figure things out. Very good "short" idle/exponential game.

24. One Piece Live Action S2 - Man these guys clearly have done their homework and have made incredibly likable Straw Hats. I can vibe with the Americanization of it. Doe hates how they grinchified Chopper though. I like it a lot lol

25. Poke All Toads - Seriously goofy puzzle game about fairies poking toads and tactically getting eaten in a non-vorny cartoonish way. Strong recommendation.

26. Creepy Redneck Dinosaur Mansion 3 - HOO BOY. If you like Match-3 styled games in any capacity, then do I have a game for you. Love a game that shows incredible dedication to a bit, especially when the bit is such a dense topic to cover. Very very strong recommendation.

27. Dumbing of Age - I started and then fully caught up on this Webcomic. Still a solid solid read, bingeable, and has aged exceptionally well for a comic that started in 2010.

28. Mr. Sleepy Man - Incredibly 7/10 game. Always gotta tip my hat to a game that makes wide swings, even if they don't land. The music video segments (and OST in general) is very strong. Probably would have benefited from a more focused smaller scope. Still scratches the itches that have resulted in a 12+ hour playthrough from me.

I played on Lenient and raced my partner Doe. He got a headstart but he's better at the game than I am and plays on Violent. And as an entirely unrelated result, got *extremely* frustrated at the last section of 8-3. Which, to be fair, is an entirely valid frustration to have.

Anyways Fraud's my favorite layer with Violence being a close second.

Jumpdrive - 10 minute Race for the Galaxy!! Super fun game. I really should own a copy of this at some point...
Earthborne Rangers - A TTRPG for those who prefer more game in their campaign. A fun eco-friendly setting with a load of cool things to do!
Ancient Knowledge - A game about making monuments and preserving ancient anachronistic multi-cultural knowledge. I definitely played this one wrong. Kind of meh, but I still had a nice time.

Sea, Salt, and Paper - Still a great light set collector! We used an expansion that added Event cards which also added an interesting element to the game.
New York Zoo - An Uwe game, so tile placement stuffs. The guy who owned this said "it's a $20 game" and I can agree heartily with that. It's pretty good, but nothing extraordinary.
Origin Story - A trick taker! There's also a level of light strategy in the myriad of card powers you can randomly get. But you can get totally hosed on it too. I feel like the card powers could use drafting mechanics imo. Still interesting, would play again.

...I ended up writing a lot anyways..

Wet Haired Caribou from One Piece. I love Foxy for being an unashamed open loophole cheater. This guy is probably my second favorite minor villain so far. He's just an absolutely terrible person, completely spineless when things aren't overwhelmingly in his favor, a threat to anyone who *isn't*, at this point in the story, very powerful. Something I whipped up last night. Just a godzilla styled head and neck. It’s a pretty perfect masculine woman look. Might be better for Akiko than it is for my sona.
