97) Sometimes, you can just horizontally flip a background to make it look fresh, if it's generic enough! 🪞 (I wouldn't do this with interiors, though. Mundane streets and the organic forms of nature are more forgiving!)

98) If you're drawing lots of sprite facial expressions, keep a mirror nearby so you can look at yourself for reference in real time! 😊😜 Reference images are great but they won't give you every angle possible. (I also take photos of myself in poses I want to draw to use as reference.)
