Then I can pull that structured data into my encounter write-ups, using the dataview plugin for the data retrieval and using the templater plugin so I don't have to remember all the fussy syntax. The first image here is the encounter writeup, and the second is the fussy template.

Oh, I also have a template for the NPC metadata so I don't have to type in all the property names from scratch. That one is simple. It gets automatically applied every time I make a new note in the NPCs folder -- that's a Templater feature, and it rocks.
