Just a reminder, Texas dems have done this move in the recent past and the fascist republicans threatened to arrest them and kick them all out of office. They can’t hold out for over a year. But good for them. Make it painful.
On the one hand - good for them! No decent person should cooperate in any way with Republicans. On the other hand - late Saturday night Republicans will declare Democrats illegal in some way, expel them from office, and vote for it anyway. Republicans are fascists.

Update: Texas Democrats have travelled to California, New York and other states to discuss with Democratic governors on how to combat Republican gerrymandering. They will not deny quorum anymore due to returning on the same day they left. www.kvue.com/article/news...
