I always reply to folks who make nice/thoughtful comments on my work. I typically will ignore ones that get too thirsty or cringy. But even something as simple as "wow this looks really good!" Will always get a "Thank you! 😀" from me

This is strongly felt. Not just art, but any post in general. If it’s a general comment they get all the time, it’s one thing, but when you comment something actually meaningful and the most it gets is a like… meh. Yeah, I don’t know why I bother either. Especially when it’s all the time.

Yeah it can suck when you go out of your way to make a notable comment that isn't just "hot stuff" and it just... goes away.
