Itzel and Mimi attempt to appeal to the humanity of their captors Itzel: WHAT THE FUCK!? Mimi (still holding her sandwich): HEY HEY WAIT! I STILL GOTTA EAT! The captors just laugh Pumpkin Itzel: MYA-HA (X7) Pumpkin mimi: WE'LL BE THE ONES EATING TODAY!!! Mimi's doppelganger lunges her way. Mimi attempts to take a bite of her sandwich Pumpkin Mimi: TRICK OR TREAT Mimi successfully begins to eat her sandwich. She cold clocks her doppelganger and her fist comes out the back of it's head as pumpkin guts fly out at the viewer Itzel and Pumpkin Itzel look on in shock We end on a "HAPPY HALLOWEEN!" Itzel and Mimi sit on nervous Pumpkin Itzel as the credits roll (but not really because this is a comic)
Everything's in color as Itzel wakes up! Itzel: GAAAASP! GETTHEFUCKOFFMETHEPUMPKINCAMEOUTGREAT! Mimi is already awake and has made herself a sandwich. She's doesn't seem to notice that Itzel's very freaked out Mimi: Oh hey, good morning Boss! Wanna see something cool? We see the pumpkins, now wearing sinister smiles as a green glow emanates from their eyes Mimi: Looks like the spirits wound up in the pumpkins instead of us Itzel looks concerned Itzel: I see. Itzel turns away from the pumpkins tries to change the subject (she just noticed there are now windows in the room) Itzel: Where are we anyway? Mimi: I think it's the same room? All the furniture is in the same plus plus there's food in the fri- Suddenly green roots burst out of the floor and wrap themselves around our heroes. As Itzel and Mimi scream, the two pumpkins facial expressions become more sinister
Itzel's pumpkin is complete, and in color for some reason. It just looks like a cat face itzel: I think I've captured the inner complexities of my soul. How's your pumpkin, Mimi? Mimi is already asleep. Her pumpkin looks like her if she was drawn by Bruce Timm Mimi: GUHHHhhhh Itzel does gun fingers Itzel: HEH! You're...pretty good! She immediately falls asleep A shadowy figure appears above Itzel. It places it's hand over her head, causing her body to vibrate uncontrollably. In the final panel, it appears to have completely enveloped our hero. She smiles, but the words that come out of her mouth are not hers "Itzel:" Trick or treat
They carve those pumpkins dude. Lots of extreme close ups and manic expressions as Itzel slices her pumpkin apart. Mimi meanwhile takes to drawing/ sculpting her design with careful precision. As the page goes on our heroes become progressively tired until they're basically covered in shadow Itzel: Okay...
Mimi: By reading this note you have already been placed under a sleeping spell Itzel: WHAT!? Mimi: You have 30 minutes. GOOD LUCK. Itzel starts to yawn Itzel: OH MY GAH-AH-AAAAAAWW They both yawn for a panel Itzel grabs Mimi as the adrenaline takes over Itzel: WAKE THE FUCK UP! They dash to the pumpkin table Itzel: I don't wanna be controlled again Mimi: Neither do I boss They start screaming as they prepare to carve the pumpkins
Mimi reads a note as Itzel just stands and stares. There's a little creature in the room too, but don't worry about that. Mimi: "From the Management?" Itzel: That's new. Mimi: "Congrats on making it this far. Management has seen fit to provide you with proper bedding and a fully stocked fridge Itzel: Oh my God do I ever hope there's nothing else written on that note. Mimi: "HOWEVER" Itzel (dead inside): Uh huh. Mimi: Before you sleep you each must carve a pumpkin in your likeness. If you fail to carve the pumpkins or if the pumpkins look nothing like you...you will be possessed by the spirits in that room."
