THE KHERT! All things began here allegedly and currently all things return here after their death. And just as much as the living would love to be able to call things from the memory of the khert, there are those clinging to themselves that would also like to escape just like smoke eels or squishes. In the back of the gigantic break in the crumbling brick wall are all sorts of creatures. Coral-like structures with ridges that remind one of fractals or waves in th sand of the ocean wind throughout the incredibly bright scene. The usual ghosts that we see, as well as lanky, thin bodied creatures with growths on their back as well as tagalongs. A massive, toothy mawed air creature soars through the air, looking like it is made of blood. And way in the back is an even larger centaurish creature, slightly obscured by the atmosphere. An angry crescian wright starts to weave a heat spell, only for Mathis to launch glamour advertisements at him. But these aren't just any advertisements. They're butt-erflies. Butts with wings. And they yell "ASSMAN!" at him as they all charge in front all directions and knock him off his feet. Mathis, being dramatic has put himself on a little ledge because he wants to be taller as he casts the asses upon the other wright, It's a completely unedited panel of the comic. Shanked by a villain, Duane lay on the rocks in the Khert, comforted by squishes, who use their little tentacles to help him get his goopy back where it belongs. It's certainly not blood as images is Sette sitting glumly and of his daughter reflect in the large drops. One in the middle calls out to him. "Duane!" And he jolts upright. "Coming!" he calls back in acknowledgement, his hands gripping tightly to his chest to aid the squishes in getting that all back in there. At the start of the 12th chapter, a group of stormies, watercycle nymphs of both the skies and seas, greet their kin as they condensate and cause rough waters around them. However Uaid, the gigantic rump in the back you've been waiting to have addressed, is very large and made of First Material, so pymary-powered spells or creatures don't toss him around a lot. He trudges along with the calm water up top. These are not even the coolest creatures that talk and interact with the human (spiderpaw) communities in UNSOUNDED! Ana tries to launch a spell at Emil, who swings his sword to block it from hitting him or his saddle hound, Pantoffel. The purple hued object the spell was attached to bounces away. "OBLITERATE him, Ana!" Knock-Me-Down calls back to her ally. "Spell's gotta HIT him, Knock." Ana reminds with a serious furrow to her brow as she concentrates on Emil. "Fookin' Pymary--" Knock hisses despite relying on it.
Cursing those who betrayed her, as it turns out, a jailbreak will become the least of their concerns when Sette and Duane face off against monsters from the spirit realm, a rampaging army, a vengeful mage, and a ferocious gang of Stormbringers as Duane’s past literally comes back to haunt them, all while Sette grapples with the implication of recent events. The standard narrative goes that LUDDITES were foolish lunatics who, in fear of technology, decided progress was bad, and started hitting it with sticks. (But the truth is entire ways of life were being destroyed.) Previously, skilled craftsmen were respected for the time and effort it took to do their work. The entire family usit would form a cottage industry - creating something valuable, and command a decent living. But when a machine can work 10 times faster its owner can charge less for the prodcts- craftsmen couldn't compete and were left out of work almost overnight. And as factories became a fixture of the british landscape, these now unemployed labourers often ended up working the factories that had just destroyed their way of life. Britain was the most prosperous nation in history, factory owners became extremely wealthy and influential. But the people doing the actual work saw almost none of it.
