My white cat, Mystique. Here she is seen hiding behind some cardboard wrapping paper. To get a proper exposure, Mystique was supposed to remain still for three seconds. She failed to achieve this. The picture shows her mid-states: solid, and still, staring at the camera. Yet also fluid; as she sprints off she leaves a trail like a comet heading to the rear left of our view.
