Am I thinking what everybody's thinkin'? That I'm so glad I came, but I can't wait to leave?

Post in "Obsession Movie Fan Club" from user "Cassell's Music" that reads: Okay. This one is GUARANTEED to Blow You Away!! After Curry and Cooper reached a deal with me to rent my store for the location shoot, they asked if there was any way to negotiate the price down. I had been thinking that this 'ask' might come up, so I said to them "Put me in a small scene with one or two lines and I'll knock $1000.00 off the location fee". They didn't even hesitate and said 'YES!". So, on the second day of the shoot, I filmed a scene with Nikki (Inde Navarette) where I played a customer who walks to the register (manned by Nikki) to buy some items. Nikki is ignoring me as she is looking off to the side at Bear. I said in a somewhat loud voice, "Excuse me. Are you going to help me or are you more interested in staring at your friend?" She then rang me up and I paid with my credit card and left saying "Kids these days just don't know about customer service." We did it three or four times and Curry said "Ed, you're a natural at this" So, imagine my disappointment that my scene didn't make it into the final cut. My son, who did make it into the movie as an extra in the background, said my scene probably didn't add to the overall storyline and so it ended up being cut as so many other scenes were. My question to you all - - Do you think Curry just played along with me to get the $1000.00 discount knowing that he would not use my scene or do you think that by not adding to the storyline, he did the right thing by cutting it? I want to believe my scene didn't add to the movie rather than being sandbagged for the discount. They did, however, give me special thanks in the closing credits so for that I'm grateful. Who knows - perhaps my scene will be in a directors cut someday which has deleted scenes.
