i highly doubt that it will run ChromeOS like some people are speculating. ChromeOS EC firmware is seen in a lot of places in the wild since it's open-source. Framework laptops use it, for example. idk what HDMI CEC could mean for this thing. maybe it's a Steam Machine, maybe they want to make a proper standalone console and want to work on multimedia capabilities in SteamOS. with such little information, it is impossible to tell what they want to do with this, so speculation is useless until more information is released
