Not just a documentary, but the entire Eurovision week will be a series of documentaries, talks and reports on Gaza. Mohammed Sawwaf) - documentary about a mother separated from her newborn twins during the bombing in Gaza. Debates with Bergant: Wars of the 21st Century - discussion about “digital numbness” from constant exposure to war. No Other Land (Edina zemlja) - Oscar-winning documentary following Basel Adra & Yuval Abraham documenting displacement in Masafer Yatta, West Bank. The Voice of Hind Rajab (dir. Kaouther Ben Hania) - film based on the real 2024 killing of 6-year-old Hind Rajab and the failed rescue attempt. The little girl survived an explosion, called on the phone for help, and was brutally finished off by Israel soldiers before help arrived. Televizorka - discussion on Palestinian cinema, censorship and Western double standards with Petra Meterc & Nada Pretnar. Eurovision - Euroillusion? (Dosje) - program about Eurovision politics, Israel controversy, boycotts and criticism of the EBU. Coexistence, My Ass! (dir. Amber Fares) - documentary about Israeli comedian and activist Noam Shuster Eliassi. The Teacher (dir. Farah Nabulsi) - political drama about a Palestinian teacher dealing with loss, resistance and occupation in the West Bank. I think RTV Slovenia will make the films available internationally too.
