JORY TRINIDAD BATCH: ‘OCTAVIA’ Marjory (callsign “Vera”) frequently ventures the Höllvanian underground railways, working unseen and all on her own. A technician specialising in radio engineering, she maintains the communication lines that are often harried by the Techrot—at least, that’s what she claims to have been doing before she got caught and locked up by the others for ambushing Rue, at the moment she first appeared and infiltrated Yuuna’s complex. As the others attempt to interrogate her and make her cooperate, the only thing that would become apparent is her sheer disdain towards the broken Protoframe whenever they pass by, or whenever she sees them. YUUMA HARGRAVE BATCH: ‘NEKROS’ Yuuma (callsign “Grove”) dwells in cold spaces, which goes along with his temperament towards others. His surly nature is mostly attributed to the disfigured face that he keeps covered, finding it too shameful—even a remembrance of how much he blames his cousin, Yuuna, for taking a gamble of keeping him around even though he was already at death’s door, unwilling to receive the Infested treatment. Recently awoken, he also discovered his inability to speak, which forces him to rely on a variety of sign language, as well as morse code whenever telecommunications are required. Despite being bitter for being robbed of the choice to be released from suffering, he aids the outskirts operatives by handling targeted hunts and interrogations, and reluctantly utilising his fearful appearance to extract information from them. YUUNA HARGRAVE BATCH: ‘KOUMEI’ Yuuna (callsign “Orchard”) is a modest hostess who enjoys supporting her allies from the comfort of her “home”. She oversees the day-to-day operations in a building complex nearby the coasts of the Höllvanian outskirts, where she also manages a surplus store that was left behind by its previous owners, who were unfortunately claimed by the Techrot. As there is so much vacant space, she has welcomed the other Protoframes in the outskirts to set up base there. Her skill in combat is rather rudimentary, and would prefer avoiding any encounters. However, this is not to underestimate her wiles and knack for taking risks head-on; one that she is also infamous for, especially in her cousin Yuuma’s eyes, who harbours a complicated resentment towards her. AODHÁN MARREN BATCH: ‘HARROW PRIME’ Aodhán (callsign “Mourn”) is a man with a history that he refuses to bring up by keeping busy. He primarily serves as the outskirts’ medic, and ministers to his companions—as well as the survivors that come to his doorstep for healing and benediction. For so much of the work and support he does, he is unwilling to accept the help that he needs, and would leave unannounced at times in the evening to replenish his energy. Whenever night falls, word among Scaldra radio transmissions in this region would exchange the words “blood tithe” in fear. Patrols would advise utmost caution and vigilance whenever the sound of clinking chains and shattering glass are heard. UNKNOWN BATCH: ‘XAKU’ Unknown (callsign Fragment), despite the label, prefers to be called “Rue”. They claim that the name was all that they could remember since they stirred awake from death. A severed head affixed to a duplicate body of the composite Warframe assigned to them, this entity who doesn’t even know themselves attempt to navigate the plagued world, with the drawbacks that they have to live and contend with. One of these troubles is their inability to control the power to manifest fissures, due to a deliberate modification of their Warframe’s configuration. Its chaos and corruption over the denizens of the outskirts would soon spread, and without intervention, may even affect all of Höllvania. ROLE: RECON D.O.B.: MAY 15(?)
