Later when a full version of Phillips's "The Bandit Invincible" manuscript was found, a more plausible theory emerged. A previously unknown associate of Butch was called William T Wilcox. Some deeds in the manuscript were Wilcox's. So a calculator was created by an outlaw, just not Butch Cassidy.
