The on-the-day stuff is the bit most people actually need, and it's now done properly. Gate status, seat, boarding group all front and centre. This is the app the old one should always have been.

Here's my gripe though. Go into Reward Flights and you get two options: "Reward Flight finder" and "Book with Avios". That's it. And tapping "Book with Avios" just kicks you straight out to the BA website. No more quick in-app reward seat hunt.
