@willnorman.co.uk Hi Will, as of yesterday this is still going on.
On e-mail on May 29, the Force Control Room said: "The City of London Police van that you have mentioned is currently at the location for operational reasons." No response as yet to me asking if an alternative spot could be found.
omg yes I pass this on my commute too, and that road is usually very congested with HGVs and buses so quite unsafe to pull out into the carriageway to get round
