"Based on remarks Clarence Thomas - who wrote the dissent on Obergefell - made over the weekend, the current 6-3 conservative majority that includes 2 Trump appointees, and Kim Davis' petition being set to be heard on this fall, there is a not-insignificant chance that the queer right to marriage equality nationwide could be overturned, and I just cannot breathe anymore. Like it or not, if you want to be an ally to autistic people, you're going to have to take the L and leave eccentric, weird people alone. Even if you don't know them to be autistic. You shouldn't be looking for Acceptable Reasons to be mean to people in the first place. Being respectful should be the default.
