Wegetacja (“Vegetation”), Zdzisław Beksiński, c. 1957. Beksiński is famous for his surrealist paintings, but he also had a creative photographic practice off to the side. Sadly, his abstract period only lasted a few years, but it’s always a pleasure to see some reaction-diffusion in the wild.
