At the end of the film the odyssey Matt Damon's character of Odysseus returns in disguise and his son, Telemachus played by Tom Holland, does not recognise him. He asks of the stranger along the lines of “Where is my father” and odysseus says “Odysseus is close :-)” something like that. It reminded me immediately of the moment in the empire strikes back where Luke asks Yoda “Where is Yoda” and Yoda says “Not far”, so this is a humorously handmade conflation of the two moments, where sodas name has been poorly replaced with Odysseus. In the top panel Luke (with tom Hollands head) spoons stew from the pot and asks “How far away IS oddyseus, will it take us long to get there?” and in the second panel a grinning matt Damon peeking out from yodas kitchen says “Not far. Odysseus not far”. Hopefully that helps the joke translate but honestly I feel like I over explained it. An extra for alt-text readers; the text is supposed to look like I took a screenshot of the subtitles from the film and jammed Odysseus’ name in there afterwards, but I actually put *all* the text in afterwards. Hopefully it looks believable.
