I am going to tell you that using an MCP 3008 ADC for recording audio isn't really a terrible idea. If you are able to get 75 ksps, have adequate computing power to average the audio and get 5000 Hz sampling rate. You actually get decent audio. will publish full source code soon + evidence :3
