Unfortunately I don't think it's fc-cache. Here's two screenshots that show what I mean. (This is Edge but it's all the same of course, yay browser monoculture) I honestly don't know how to figure this one out. Also annoying is enabling Wayland enables the window "chrome"/whatever with the close X

Unfortunately I think X11 was doing the "wrong" thing before and choosing Noto system fonts for _just_ the tabs/URL bar, and now in Wayland it's actually using the fonts set in the browser config.

The second screenshot (Wayland) has to be a different font, some of the characters are differently shaped like the little "s" in https....
