And gerrymandering? That's just how the Tennessee state government operates in the 21st century. Look at the state map in 2008, then compare it to 2012 when they started to isolate Nashville and Memphis. In 2022, they carved up Nashville between three districts - and are doing that now to Memphis.

In short, there are a LOT of politically corrupt states in the Union - but few are as brazen, as open, and as seemingly proud of it as Tennessee.
