Like, look at this silly thing. It's almost easy to confuse with an apple tv. But you can just buy as many $8 mickey mouse plugs as you want for it, and it will give you 200W of low voltage DC, regardless of the country you are in. Oh also everything you travel with needs to be USB powered.

What I have not yet found is a set of “nice” (silicone jacket like Apple power cables, instead of hard plastic) short (30-50cm) figure-8 to US/UK/EU/AU cables. Someone has to make these?!

This. But, I use my MacBook Pro to do the job. With a MagSafe input, the three Type-C outputs charge two phones and my iPad, every night I'm away. And I have US, EU and UK pluggy things for the apple power brick, and it'll take a C8 if I go elsewhere.
