Rallies took place in downtown Seoul and outside the National Assembly. Another huge protest is planned for Saturday when lawmakers will vote on Yoon’s removal. Should that fail, civil society groups have vowed to keep going. In 2016-17 they protested for 6 months before Park Geun-hye’s removal.
