The new Medicaid ruling laid down by Congress requires people to commit 80 hours a month (a job, education, or volunteer work). That's the mandatory requirement for being disabled. Or for being the full-time caregiver of a disabled spouse (who is on Medicare and was the household health insurance provider before becoming disabled). This guideline must be extended. No more criminals "getting off" with less community service or prison time than Medicaid recipients! Mandatory 100-hour minimum for anyone found guilty of any crime a judge rules on. Because if disabled people, and the caregivers of disabled people, need to do at least 80 for wanting to survive; then criminals must be required to do more! Even if they are sports champions, movie stars, or politicians. Time to prove that criminal behavior is worse than being disabled or a caregiver of a disabled person. And once you've got that in place, get started on the Epstein TRIALS.
Cyclosporiasis, or the disease caused by the parasite Cyclospora cayetanensis, is out of control. The United States government should be able to guarantee safe food, water, and air in this country. Have we tried properly funding some sort of Center for Disease Control and Prevention? A science based, non-political agency to keep track of such things and PROTECT the United States. That should be funded. And probably an agency for protecting the environment. With strong regulations to protect things like ground water for agricultural/ farming purposes. Because that could help protect our food. Maybe prioritize that. And eliminate any "leaders" who stand in the way of making food safe in America again.
Screw worm infestations. Microplastics in drinking water. Measles outbreaks. Does Congress honestly have no power to protect the people of the United States anymore? Millions losing health care, homes, food... life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Can our government find a way to support the people? Is the current situation honestly the BEST you can do for your constituents?
Could you protect the National Forests? Or the Cherry trees in DC? Does Congress still have any power to protect and conserve the beauty of the United States? Or did we just celebrate the end of a 250-year experiment with Democracy? Those trees are part of the Greatness. Try to honor the courage and bravery of Air Force Major Jason Watson. Stand, as he did, for the United States. Try to protect our land, water, air, and population. Just try. Please.
The so-called SAVE act is an illegal voter poll tax. Are you giving out free passports? Are you personally paying for passports? It's also a punishment for marriage. Is that the American value of this administration? Anti-marriage? This is a ridiculous attack on democracy and that means it’s an attack on America. Do better.

The United States Constitution does not have an on-off switch to be flicked whenever the fundamental laws of our nation become inconvenient! Just because the Constitution isn't sponsored by Monster, Bud Light, or Paramount, doesn't make it worthless. Please SUPPORT The Books Save Lives Act (HR 8235) The Right to Read Act (HR 6440) The Fight Book Bans Act (HR 7691) Diverse books are important and should be in school libraries. Federal Funding must be given to increase LITERACY, as it is the building block of all civilized cultures. Libraries should be extremely well funded! OPPOSE HR 7661 until the language of the bill is more clearly defined. While children shouldn't be sexualized, the wording excludes everything, including biology and health textbooks. It is a hate weapon against some children rather than a shield of protection against pedophiles. HR 8705 and HR 2616 are equally problematic as they target elimination of all books where race and gender are mentioned, thus banning most history books and causing prejudice rather than promoting equality and harmony. Books are too important. And getting real reading material into the hands of children has never mattered more than it does in this digital age. We must do better!
No to the "Trump Promenade," or any changes to the Lincoln memorial. (No to a blue swimming pool bottom on the reflecting pool, but apparently you already agreed to that wasteful expenditure.) And NO to AI Data Centers on farmland or within fifty miles of any residential area or school. With one exception. Instead of a ballroom, put a data center, EXACTLY like the others that are harming people, exact same standards, put one in the spot where that gaudy ballroom is planned. Because if it's safe enough for everyone else, then it's safe enough to share air, water, and land with the leader's residence. Right? Try to start standing up for constituents. Taking care of each other, THAT'S an American value. Wasteful spending on foolish "renovations" that haven't been approved and aren't needed, that's not American. Be better.
Hegseth and Trump are holding this military encounter, war, engagement, tiff... whatever it's being called. Congress did not, should not, and must not approve of it. BUT The deployed military members are not at fault. They go where they are sent. And they must not be STARVED. No arch. No ballroom. No golden bathroom, gold statues, or gaudy oval office decor. FEED THE MILITARY. Stop these absurd deployments. Iran, Cuba, parts of Africa, etc etc. No more being wasteful. And not one penny to any insurrectionist for attacks on our nation. But our actual active duty deployed service members? Feed them. Give them supplies to survive. And bring them home. Care for our active and veteran military people. Stop failing our country at such an astounding level. There's no greatness left when we can't even feed our military. Stop allowing Trump to turn the United States into an undeveloped "third world" nation where good food, safe water, a clean environment, and proper health care are beyond reach. DO SOMETHING BETTER.

Pennsylvania should pass a law to PROTECT advocates and speakers who properly represent the LGBTQIA+ communities and abortion rights. We need this to counter the horrible prejudice of Tennessee, where higher educational opportunities are now denied to people who seek to learn accurate and honest information on such topics. We can't fix the prejudice, extremists, hatred, and pro-terrorism views of other states. But we could outlaw it here! I urge you to protect people, knowledge, and reality today!

Most medicine and medical advances must first undergo testing in lab animals, notably mice. For advancements in health care, like anything related to the uterus, tests must first be SUCCESSFULLY performed on animals that are biologically not similar to humans. Thus, advancement in health care for an organ like a human uterus is ridiculously slow. Something to consider.
SUPPORT Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Bernie Sanders pause of the construction of AI and hyperscale data centers until Congress passes legislation regulating artificial intelligence. Require that AI systems are safe, benefit workers, and do not drive up electricity prices, and do not strain our safe drinking water.

Detention Verification Verify a person’s citizenship status before detaining them, to avoid wrongful detentions of U.S. citizens. 3. Enforcement Conduct & Transparency No masks; standardized uniforms so agents look like civil law enforcement (not cartel/gestapo/carjacking looking... terrorizing communities) Body cameras + clear ID (agency, unique number, last name). As is required for other agencies. 4. Sensitive Location Protections Ban enforcement near schools, medical facilities, childcare, churches, polling places, courts, etc. 5. Anti-Profiling Rules Stop tactics based on race, language, accent, appearance, or location. 6. Operational Limits Large-scale actions must have state/local consent; 7. Oversight & Accountability Allow state/local governments to investigate/prosecute misconduct by federal agents and impose stronger internal conduct standards. 8. Use-of-Force Standards Require reasonable use-of-force policies, expanded training, and officer certification, as with other agencies. 9. Access to Counsel 10. If someone becomes pregnant while in ICE custody, DNA testing must be done, and any and all agents or persons who have used their authority as a means of sexual misconduct, including rape and pedophilia, must be imprisoned and permanently banned from ever holding any government position. 11. No forced sterilization. This is a human rights violation similar agencies have previously committed. It must be FORBIDDEN. 12. Guaranteed accommodation of safe, adequate, and clean water, food, clothing, bedding, and restroom facilities (including feminine hygiene and incontinence such as diapers). The same standard expected for a US Congressperson to get through a day and night as the base for this budget.

No to the war in Iran. Absolutely NO to the "SAVE act" voter suppression and illegal voting fee. (I understand the Republican party HATES marriage - especially among Christians, who have a tradition of name changes. I understand Republicans want to stop people from marrying and from having babies. But that doesn't make it right.) And stop allowing the USPS to go down in flames! Obviously, we CAN afford to maintain an efficient and affordable postal service. (We found the money for all that seafood and a make-up counter for the War department, so there's DEFINITELY plenty of money to fix the problems the current administration is causing with the postal service!) And get the Trials going with the Epstein Files! Sex traffickers and pedophiles belong in the deepest, darkest, most miserable prisons on the planet.
OPPOSE the "Save act" voter suppression. Then offer FREE passports to all US citizens. Once everyone has had a year to get their FREE, lifetime with NO FEES, passports, then Congress can revist this ridiculous waste of time and money. Voting should be FREE. The US Surgeon General needs to be an actual MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL. One who graduated near the top of their class from an accredited MEDICAL COLLEGE in the United States and then practiced medicine in the United States successfully for at least a decade. Community involvement, such as free clinics, would be excellent. Service in the United States military would be a bonus. Real experience in reproductive health care would be incredibly beneficial. Genuine, first-hand experience helping the transgender community with transitions would be incredible, given the SERIOUS lack of information and knowledge on the topic by current government officials. But an actual, licensed, medical professional is an absolute mandatory minimum. Please keep incompetence OUT of office.

I am writing to echo the words of Rep. Melanie Stansbury: No new wars! Not in Iran, not anywhere else. The American people do not want this. But, you know what they do want? Healthcare, housing, good-paying jobs, and accountability. Bombing Iran is not that. I'd like to add: Voting rights protected (even if someone gets married and changes their name -- there shouldn't be an extra fee or step to vote as punishment for marriage!), and the pedophiles and sex trafficking monsters in the Epstein Files need to be locked up. Unlike the innocent children ICE is hurting in those horrible places, the evil people named in the Epstein files actually belong in those detention centers.
If the "Save" act passes, voting will be too expensive. So, instead of spending money on ad campaigns for your reelection, spend it buying passports for people who have no plans to travel but can't afford to buy them just to vote. Is it carpetbagging? 40 acres and a mule? Well, it's possibly equal to this being a poll tax. You're pretty popular with women, who won't be able to afford to vote for you. Maybe spread this idea around the Democratic party. The Republicans pass the poll tax, the Democrats spend campaign money buying "voter passports" and providing advanced transportation and services for handicapped individuals who could have safely voted from home. Get the plan in place now. It's unlikely the Senators from our state will oppose this voters-rights-impediment.
SUPPORT USPS. There seems to be a war waged against the United States Postal Service, waged by the United States Government (primarily the Republicans). This needs to stop. Yes, it's harder to fake an election with mail-in ballots. And it's harder to intimidate voters if they're not out at polling places. But the United States is supposed to be a democracy, is supposed to have free and fair elections, and is meant to have the finest Postal Service in the world. Please don't let the current administration destroy this.
Islamic teachings emphasize maintaining the father's lineage, thus women are discouraged from changing their names upon marriage. The "SAVE" act is about the Republican Party longing to make America an Islamic nation, to pull away from Christianity. Further evidenced by the extreme ICE assaults, which clearly go against Christianity. While religion should be SEPARATE from "State" (politics), it should also not be used as a method to create voter suppression. Additionally, JD Vance does not have a name matching his birth certificate, and thus should become ineligible for his office if this act passes. OPPOSE VOTER SUPPRESSION LAWS. And don't let Republicans force Islamic law, or any other religious law, to influence or rewrite our Constitution. Try just following the laws we already had before Trump ever came to power.
Restore dignity and justice to our nation. PROSECUTE sex offenders. No leniency for pedophiles. FIGHT sex trafficking. Immigrants are not the big enemy, the big problem. Redirect the ICE budget to tracking down the predators revealed in the Epstein files and similar cases. Make rape and pedophilia UNACCEPTABLE again.
Support The Stop Insider Trading Act. It obviously isn't in your best financial interests. But, ethically, it is in the best interest of the nation. The billionaire class must not lord over the population. Prove Congress isn't for sale.
Defund ICE. Oppose any bill that defends ICE funding. Support legislation that revokes the 75 Billion in funding for that law-breaking hate-crime "agency." Stop the murders, assaults, and kidnappings. Prosecute! Uphold the laws, defend the Constitution of the United States of America. Defund and disband ICE. Hold people accountable for their actions. And demand the full, unredacted release of the Epstein files. (As this ICE escalation seems to be related to protecting pedophiles who belong behind bars forever without the possibility of parole.)
Stop funding terrorism. A green gas (possibly Hexachloroethane) filling residential neighborhoods in America? That's terrorism. Using tax dollars to fund terrorism against Americans? Unethical. Congress is considering a bill that would allow ICE to subject unaccompanied immigrant children to invasive bodily searches and prolonged detention, leading to serious – potentially permanent – psychological harm. This is abuse and is not how our country should ever treat children. STOP SUPPORTING PEDOPHILES! Immigrant children who came alone to seek protection are already uniquely vulnerable. Many of these children have now been taken from their families and other sponsors and detained while they apply for asylum or other humanitarian protection or immigration status. These kids are in danger and this is beyond inhumane. You must act to stop ICE from harming children. Every child should be treated with dignity and care. I urge you to take action to stop these abusive campaigns against children and vote no on H.R. 4371.
OPPOSE the renaming of the Kennedy Center. If possible, outlaw the vandalism that is the inflammatory signs hung under presidential portraits in the White House. Bring some modicum of dignity back to our nation. There is absolutely no greatness in the current ongoings. And hit hard with the Epstein files!
