seemingly simple things like paint-and-post bike lanes, curb extensions, crossing improvements, and traffic calming features had a huge impact: a 30% increase in bikes and a 57% increase in pedestrians along this neighborhood corridor.
Love this! Feels a lot like the first time community activists did this without permission. They kept at it and now the city is doing it officially!
