Below, we see that turning on the magnetic field (b) pushes currents to the edge!

There’s a lot more rich & interesting physics in this setup, too - some in this paper today, and some that I’m still working on (watch this space!). But looking more broadly, our results really highlight the utility of quantum computers as a platform to study open system dynamics.
