By working with the fee in a relational, fair and transparent way, the fee can come to represent care, commitment and respect to each other and the process.
“The alchemical attitude attends to the transformation of various union states through both a solar and lunar consciousness. Lunar consciousness can be too undifferentiated, too unformed, too imaginative in an undisciplined way, and overly empathic; solar consciousness can be too penetrating, too destructive of the sensitivity of the watery lunar creation, and fixated upon being “right” rather than submitting to relatedness, body awareness, and the demands of a larger whole. Reconciling these two forms of consciousness is necessary to create a relationship that can survive as a living and functioning entity amidst negative emotions and especially abandonment threats. The summary: if we have no cult, we have no culture, and there is no point whining about the fact; it is better to simply face it. This is where we are. The ongoing ‘culture war’ is thus the equivalent of two bald men fighting over a comb. The important question now is what - or who - will rush into the Void.
