Poster for the Denim Devil, a denim-themed wannabe slasher, done in a style that I've seen called acid graphics or neo-acid but least accurately as brutalism, I really don't think it's brutalist, maybe just because it's a grid-heavy kinda look? I don't know. There's some big text and a bunch of little text that is mostly there to look neat. These make me think of the kinds of shirts I would've really been into in middle school or something, I think even the guys who picked on me would've been like 'nice shirt weirdo' before pulling it over my head and kicking me in the face, which would've been an improvement over whatever loser shirt I was actually wearing back then. Maybe Guardians of the Coast or something with Spawn. Geez I sucked in middle school, middle school sucked
Poster for an actual real-ass movie called The Unquenchable Thirst for Beau Nerjoose, done in a style that I've seen called acid-graphics or brutalist, but I really don't think it's brutalist, so I dunno. Lot of distressed paper texture, boxes, giant headline and a bunch of little text. There's an evil doctor with a knife, a guy looking at a worm creature puppet apparently coming out of his rear, cast pictures of people who were apparently cool with being in a movie called The Unquenchable Thirst for Beau Nerjoose, some other worm puppet dudes. One little text block reads: Everybody is telling you that you're the chosen one who needs to stop an evil doctor intent on ruling the universe.

Teenage mutant ninja turtles trading card 30, ‘Turtles? No way!!’ It reads, with a cartoon image of an older woman wielding a machine gun. So I think maybe this is from first TMNT episode and the turtles are up on the surface for the first time, so people are freaking out, but this reads way more like… bias? Some kind of anti-turtle bigotry? Like, the teenage mutant ninja parts, she’s fine, but amphibian with a shell oh it is on sight, not in MY backyard, and also I have a laser gun I guess because bullets don’t exist in 90s cartoons. Man New York has changed
