i took a drawing class last term, these are my thumbnail sketch notes "thumbnails sketches" are typically sized to about 2-3 inches, or roughly the size of a thumbnail. I don't know who's thumbnails are that large though, mine certainly aren't.

And while explaining, they use hand gestures to demonstrate, which I've captured here because I find the design to be especially likeable and endearing. The other window is the Blender 3D modelling application, with the default cube modified slightly.
